ABOUT NATE DEE
Born and raised in South Florida, Nate Dee has numerous artistic influences; central among them is his Haitian heritage. His use of color is reminiscent of traditional Haitian art while evoking the dynamism of contemporary street art. The design quality of the Art Nouveau movement and the drama of Hellenistic era Greek art are recurring elements of his work that unite with influences from pop surrealists to create an artistic signature that has come to define his art style.
Nate's work has been featured nationally and internationally as murals, in ad campaigns, magazines such as Delve, Making Waves, WeMerge, DUO & the Miami New Times. Most recently, he was selected as a featured artist in the Art Beat Miami "Audacity" Mural by Brightline and a featured artist in Kimpton Hotel's EPIC Art Program. In 2015 his artwork was selected to adorn the Edgar P. Mills Multipurpose Center (Ft. Lauderdale) as a mural commissioned during the Broward 100 Centennial VisualEyes project. The New Times has listed him as one of the 10 Miami Artists to follow on Instagram. In 2013 given an Honorable mention by the magazine for their 2013 Miami Masterminds awards. He's been featured on multiple blogs and has displayed his work in exhibits throughout South Florida.
