
Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Scrap Recycling Collection Events
Pompano Beach has partnered with several other Broward County cities for the collection and disposal of household hazardous waste and electronic scrap recycling. The collection of materials takes place 14 times a year at collection locations throughout the county. With proof of residency, homeowners have the ability to go to other participating cities for their collection events. There is no cost to residents of Pompano Beach for this service.
The next Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Scrap Recycling Collection Event will be on Saturday, October 8, 2022 in Coral Springs at 4800 W Copans Road. For more info and to confirm event: coralsprings.org or 954-344-1165
The event after this will be on Saturday, November 5, 2022 in Pompano Beach. 1660 NE 10th Street (Community Park across from the airpark). For more info and to confirm event: 954-786-4030

Dates and locations may change without notice. Prior to attending, please check with the Public Works department of the city hosting the event.
Please note that household hazardous waste and electronic scrap materials from Pompano Beach residents are no longer accepted at Broward County Waste and Recycling Services, located North of Copans Road at Powerline Road.
What to remember:
- Save household hazardous waste separate from garbage
- Bring hazardous waste and electronic scrap materials to a collection event for disposal or recycling
- Materials include rechargeable batteries, paint, cleaning products, pesticides, etc.
